New Years eve! The year pretty much kicked off with some artwork for Norwich Fashion Weeks Vintage show. I won awards, achieved several exam qualifications and worked on a number of amateur shows at the school as both actor and poster artist and prop making. Man it felt great, I enjoyed the experience so much from rehearsals, costume fittings, dress rehearsals to final production performances. Anyone who knows me well will realise how passionate I am about British horror films of this period so this was a very special moment for me to chat with an actor who worked for the mighty Amicus studios. Parks borrowed many aspects from Nathaniel Hawthorne 's The Scarlet Letter , and wanted to create a play based on the novel. She originally wanted to call the play Fucking A , but scrapped the idea. She later wrote the story based on the main character from The Scarlet Letter , and turned the story into more modern era, and changed the title to In The Blood. The play was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play was directed by Laura Marchant. Schaeberle Studio Theatre at Pace University produced a well-received [ citation needed ] production of show in the fall of The week-long run was sold out.
