Two full size drawings show the windshield bow layout, fairing layout, side skin cutout, tube profile, and transverse bulkhead layout. Along with improved visibility the M-IA canopy also gives inches more headroom. Jim Harter's Blog Page. I removed the cover support structure from the left skin and removed the skin so I can have better access to rivet the right skin to the air frame. I'm doing that side first because it will be easier to rivet the flap quadrant bracket to the right skin by reaching through the left side.
