The incident happened around p. Saturday at the Publix at Citrus Tower Blvd. The woman told police she was waiting to be helped in the bakery section of the store when she saw the man crouching down right behind her with his iPhone laying on the floor just below her skirt. According to the report, the woman confronted the person before he ran out of the store.

Thomas Eggert, 44, turned and hugged his wife when the judge acquitted Eggert of charges of taking images under the clothing of a minor and disorderly conduct. Eggert had been charged after two female students reported to a school administrator that Eggert appeared to be taking a photo up the skirt of another girl, then 16, at a school assembly in the auditorium on May 6. The girl was sitting in a display that was part of a World's Fair assembly the school was hosting. In announcing his verdict, Judge Robert Wilbrandt said Eggert had lied to a school administrator who confronted him when he said he did not have his phone on him and had to return to his classroom to retrieve it.
