For the fourth year running, the National Trust launched a search to find a photograph to adorn the cover of its Handbook, which is now seen by over 5 million members. Both amateur and professional photographers were encouraged to enter the competition, which had as its theme 'places that make you feel good'. Entries to the competition ranged from the awe-inspiring grandure of Winnats Pass in Derbyshire to the simple joy of a sunny afternoon spent exploring the gardens at Tyntesfield, Bristol. We can now reveal the winner of the National Trust Handbook photography competition.
Best 15+ Photography Contests You Should Enter in 2021-2022
The "Ding" Darling Wildlife Society has established two annual photography contests. Jay Norwood Darling, the Refuge's namesake, recognized the importance of art to convey powerful messages about the importance of conservation and protecting our wildlife and habitats. Wildlife and outdoor photography is a great way to educate visitors about the beauty of the wildlife that calls the Refuge "home" in hopes to inspire future conservation stewards.
